Here is the latest batch of pics from one of the amazing weddings we worked on this year.
This gorgeous women’s tuxedo is cut from navy blue silk duppioni with a satin collar. Duppioni is a wonderful fabric for women’s tuxedos—both feminine and formal.
We make the best suits out there for women.
We do this by combining our skills in true hand-tailored menswear (we also run the site www.DenverBespoke.com) and our abilities to shape fabric to fit curves.
But not only that, our suits are awesome because they are designed for the clients.
Often a client comes to us with something part way figured out in her imagination and we work with her to turn the idea into the perfect outfit for her wedding.
A subtle sugarplum silk with a delicate lace overlay. A bit of the modern with a nod to the Victorian.
A flannel lined silk biker jacket for extra warmth.
We love to make dresses with a dash of unique style. Why get married in a dress that is just like the dress that everyone is wearing this year?
The pics show one of the favorite dresses that we made for a recent client.
She liked a the modern backless style, but liked the slender “natural form” Victorian style dresses as well.
The silhouette features a mini-bustle cut from lace and silk with a lace drape below.
At first, we wanted to design a bolero to go with the jacket, but we settled on something a bit longer and warmer—-that could be worn with blue jeans as well down the road.
The jacket has an awesome cowl draped neck with decorative buttons.
The inside is lined in plush cotton flannel.
One of our favorite parts of this dress though is the color.
Combining a color with ivory, as on this dress, makes for a piece that has more character and individuality than a purely white dress.
The soft purple of the dress gives the dress a graceful vintage look.
A colored dress is often much more flattering as well.
A solid white tends to magnify the figure.
Every year we make suits and dresses for clients in every part of the world—–so if you are thinking of a custom dress, just drop us a line and we will start sketching something for you.
All of these dresses are Muslin Fit insuring the best possible look.
This means that we cut and sew a cotton mock-up of the dress that we mail to you to try on—that way you can send your feedback and comments and we can rework the style and fit to look even better on you—-you just send us digital pics so that we can work with you to decide on the changes.

We make suits for hundreds of lesbian weddings every year.
Each of them is a awesome event and an amazing chance for us to show off our best tailoring techniques.
The pics show one of our favorite suits of 2014.
This tux was made from a soft crepe.
Crepe has a gorgeous “vintage” look with a very subtle matte/sheen. The texture of the fabric is somewhat “pebbled” rather than smooth. The French pancakes are actually named for the fabric.
This fabric contrasts beautifully with the ultra smooth face of the “blush” satin we used for the lapels, pockets, and tuxedo stripe.
For the style, we chose a shawl collar style. This rounded collar is one of the classic menswear details and is found extensively on classic tuxedos. But here, it takes on a more feminine appearance and keeps the look from feeling harsh.
The pants are classic tapered leg tuxedo pants and feature a traditional tuxedo stripe.
We make custom suits for women all across the world each year—-most of our suits are for ladies who are not able to make the trip to come in for a fitting in person here in our studio in Denver Colorado.
To get the best fit, we use our muslin fitting method—-where we actually mail you a mock-up of the whole suit to try on before cutting the actual suit.
