The New Women’s Tuxedo

Formalwear is one of our specialties.

And although you may have seen some women’s tuxedos on the market, you haven’t seen any like this.

Why are our tuxedos unique?

Because each one is designed in collaboration with a client—-and every client is unique.

Some of the pieces incorporate wedding colors.

Some are super formal—-and others are super fun.

Some have a bit of a punk rock look—-and others are totally bridal.

In the end, the best look depends on the personality of the lady who wears it—-and the event that she is wearing it to.

We always love the idea of adding a bit of color—-even to our wedding gowns.

A touch of purple or gold or red can really make a look unique.

Or combine traditionally masculine and feminine details for a look that is totally yours.

Combining traditional menswear wool suitings with amazing silk brocades and satins can give the pieces a really formal touch.

We always can get tens of thousands of fabrics.  And can make virtually any details.

We work with clients all over the world every day.

For fit, we mail the clients “muslins”—-cotton mock-ups that you can try on and provide feedback on the style and look.

This insures a totally custom look via long distance.

Contact us and we can work on some sketches and designs for you.

Amazing Tailoring on the Runway

White Vest and Pant SuitEvery year we do a couple of runway shows to display our latest and most unique style.

One of our most recent shows took place at the  Museum of Nature and Science here in Denver.

We showed several women’s sportswear, outwear and formal wear looks.

The pics show some of our favorites:  a ivory wool herringbone suit with beige trim, cropped pants, and a flat cap; a purple tweed peplum jacket with a sporty brown topper, brown pants, and a bold silk cravat; an our of our famous rocker tailcoats shown with a velvet 8-panel cap.Denver Fashion Photographer Brent Andeck-4411

Almost all of the pieces we make are created with a specific client in mind.

A client contacts us and we start sketching and mailing her swatches of fabric until we have the perfect design.

We work with clients all around the world making clothing for lesbian weddings and other formal events, stage shows, and every day wear.

But a runway show is a chance to really have fun with our designs.

To us, every good design has an element of fantasy and evokes the classic designs of the past.

If you have a wedding or other special event, contact us and we can design something for you.
