1950s Style Bustiers & Corsets

1950s era Womens CorsetsWe make many gorgeous ball gowns every year.

But sometimes our brides and partygoers want a dress that is on the simpler side.  Hence our vintage tea-length collection.

These dresses, which we call our ’57 Retro Dresses, often don’t have a built in corset.

Although these dresses (and mod dresses from other brands!) often look great with just a basic bra, a corset can really shape the body and add to the look.

To guarantee the best possible look with unstructured dresses, we introduced our line of vintage style corsets.1950s Style Corset

These pieces feature gorgeous silk and lace fronts—-they certainly don’t look like the ugly shapewear from a department store that you would be ashamed to have anyone see.

The backs are made from stretchy powermesh with adjustable hooks and eyes in the back.

These are the most comfortable corsets ever.

What is more, they can me made in any color you can imagine and you can choose from dozens of different laces.

If you are doing a vintage look for your wedding, this can be your “something blue”!

Unlike ready-to-wear corsets, we make these pieces one-at-a-time to fit your measurements.

This means that we can make a great fitting corset for a woman of any height or cup size.

If you prefer a corset with a rigid back and lacing, we can, of course, do this as well.  Just contact us with any ideas you have and we will sketch something for you.

The best way to get in touch is to email me (superhero@vigilantelabs.com).

Although everything is made here in our studio in Denver, Colorado, we can make pieces that fit perfectly even at a distance and have many clients in all parts of the world.
